This is a

CASH ONLY sale so I can pay all the sellers the same day.

Ten percent of all sales will go as a donation to the church to say “thank you” for the use of their facility.

Pick up unsold items and your money

Sellers:  I’m changing the book tags to match the Salem Used Curriculum Sale (Tuesday, June 11th) so if you want to sell items at both sales then you won’t need to re-tag them

If you want to sell books at both sales:  Call or e-mail Valerie Hochstetler, valhoch@aol.com 503-585-1895 to get/confirm your number for the sale. Even if you have a previous number, you still need to let her know you will be participating. If you have not sold in the last 3 years, your number has/will be passed on to someone else. You will need a new number if you want to participate this year.

If you want to sell books only at Canby:  Call or e-mail Carla Allemann, carla.allemann@juno.com 503-829-8290to get your number for the sale.

Book Tagging:  Each book must have a 3×5 card (card stock) taped securely (two sides is fine) on the front with the following:

* Your Number: Written in the upper left hand of the 3×5 card. (This is the # you received from Valerie or Carla.)

* Name of the Book or Item:  Written on the middle of the card.

* Grade Level or Category of the Item:  Written on the upper right hand corner of the card.  If you have any items for FREE, they still need to be marked with the same information as your other items.  Categories include: Preschool, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade, Junior High, High School, Parent Resources, Foreign Language, Children’s Books (i.e. picture books, chapter books), Unit Studies, and Manipulatives (i.e.audio/visual, games, kits, maps).  The Salem sale has more categories.  If you are selling at both sales, feel free to use Salem’s categories.

* Price You are Asking:  Written under the name of the book or item.  Price each item in $0.50 increments.  No item will be sold if it appears a price has been changed.  If you decide to change the price, please attach a new card.

Set Designation:  For anything that is part of a set being sold as a set. Attach a 3×5 card to each item and indicate that it is part of a set (1 of 3, 2 of 3,…) The price need only be on the front card. Attach the set together. Please note if you know something is missing from a set; specify that on the card so the buyer is aware.

Drop off your boxes and containers of curriculum at the entrance to Building #2 no later than 10:30 A.M.  (Building #2 faces the first, front parking lot of New Life Foursquare Church.)  Sign in and volunteers will be there to receive your books and distribute the items on the correct tables.

You can then relax and chat with others until the sale begins.  Please make sure your children stay with you as they may not walk around the church campus without an adult.

There will be no early entry – only volunteers will be in the book area prior to the sale.

Your unsold items will be collected and available for you to pick up at 2:30 P.M., along with the cards of what sold and the money collected for your sold items.
